This is a good magazine for musicians. When I was in LA, I used to read it all the time. Good tips for upcoming musicians as well as industry news. Every few months, they have some great "directory" issues as well. Names and addresses of record companies, producers, attorneys, studios, and more.

Probably the best (and oldest) source of country risk ratings and analyses on the market. The publication first gained widespread attention in the 1990s when Professor Campbell Harvey of Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, along with two co-authors, found that ICRG provides information that has great predictive value with respect to future equity returns globally. Since then well-known finance textbooks (Bodie, Kane, Marcus, Investments, 6th edition (New York: McGraw-Hill Irwin, 2005) have called the ICRG and its parent company, The PRS Group, a "a leading organization" in the highly competitive field of country risk assessment. Research and Markets referred to the ICRG as "the perfect analytical tool for anyone assessing risk in foreign markets or making international investment decisions." Various IMF research papers have used ICRG's data, and the publication has been featured in Barron's magazine. With an international clientele, the PRS Group/ICRG has 250 senior advisers and country analysts stationed around the world, and has been featured recently on CNBC.

Adweek is a weekly magazine never more than 30 pages long and costing anywhere from $299.00 - $399.00. Delivery is late and sometimes out of sequence. The same publisher also does Brandweek for the same price and get this WITH ALMOST IDENTICAL CONTENT! The only difference is in the first few pages, after this it's word for word and picture for picture the same publication. Cudos to Global Media for pulling off this scam!

This is an excellent book - containing company name, address, contact numbers, website address, names of top company executives, arranged state wise and updated every 6 months. Solid 589 pages of stuff. A great marketing tool. Those aiming to search for an IT job in a particular geographical location would find this a great help to target the available companies in their chosen area.
If a CD accompanies the book with all the entries, even if the price is suitably changed, it would be more helpful.
All in all good value for your dollars.

There is no description for this magazine. Before now, I couldn't say that I had heard of it. Now, after clicking on the link and seeing there was no description... I can safely say that I STILL have not heard of it. So what is it?

This weekly newspaper is the greatest info product I've seen on the real estate investment industry. It tells me who's buying, who's selling, who's lending and who's developing. Readers in the industry must add to their in come when they read this publication. I do.

It's in French. I know.. it's kinda obvious with a name like "Moyen Age"... but it didn't occur to me when I ordered it. I thought it was just being cutsey with the title.
Anyway. If you're willing to puzzle through the French, there are some fantastic articles about the middle ages with gorgeous, glossy complementary images.

History is universal, but the English language isn't.

The fact that this magazine is written in French should not be a deterrent, it should be an incentive to learn another language, especially for those who have a thirst for knowledge and delight in things medieval. Many sources regarding European history are not written in English. Frustrating at times, I agree. However, I believe the effort of translation is it's own reward, but that's me. *wink*

Even if you cannot read French, Moyen Age has high visual value. This magazine is lavishly illustrated and contains beautiful color photos. It cites historical sources, and sometimes exposes readers to images and concepts that they have never seen before due to their obscurity.

I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in the Middle Ages.

Linda and David Glickstein carefully write an excellent travel magazine, much of which has often been plagiarized by other writers who don't do their homework. They methodically (out of their own pocket) visit an area, experiencing various hotels, bed and breakfasts, lodges, restaurants, sights, parks, walking tours, entertainment, etc., and then publish their findings. Often we find ourselves too busy to plan our own vacation, so we pull out one of their magazines and let them do the work for us. From beginning to end, the area we wish to visit is all laid out before us. Sometimes reviewing the publications helps us pick the area. They have specialized in travel from Nova Scotia to Key West. One issue a year is dedicated to Romantic Hideaways. We can't say enough about their experience as travel writers. We have been receiving the magazines for over a decade. This makes a delightful wedding gift. Worth every dollar!
